We are now Branches! Join Branches’ (Formerly South Florida Urban Ministries) AmeriCorps Team!
Branches is looking for
motivated people, with a passion to serve, to help
us make a positive impact and improve our
communities through financial stability and
student services. We have service sites in
North Miami, North Miami Beach, South Miami, and
Florida City. While serving at Branches,
AmeriCorps members receive:
• A $480
bi-weekly living allowance • Medical
insurance • A $5,550
education award • Student loan
deferment • Child care
benefits (if eligible)
Members also receive training and
mentoring that equips them not only for
their tasks at Branches, but also prepares
the members for the rest of their lives.
Though AmeriCorps members serve for a
limited time the professional development,
relationships built, connections made, and
positive community impact last a lifetime.
We want to hear from
you if you are a dynamic person who is passionate
about serving, has a personal alignment with
Branches’ values, loves to help others, has an
openness of mind, is willing to share unique gifts
and talents, and wants to help Branches fulfill
its mission and vision. If that sounds like

• Are U.S. citizen or legal
permanent resident alien • Have a high school
diploma, GED, college degree, or have attended
some college • Are willing and able to dedicate
a minimum of one year to full-time service

June 10th, 2013. The link to the AmeriCorps portal
is listed below. Please carefully follow the
instructions below since the AmeriCorps
application has been confusing to some of our
applicants.

Type in "Branches".
Your search will
provide a link to the application for Branches --
click on it. Then click on the red "apply" button
and you will be taken to the application for our
program. If the site asks you to register, click
"ok".
